Relationship Managers Morgan du Plessix and Anthony Marcozzi break down key opportunities ahead of the end of year.

by Morgan du Plessix and Anthony Marcozzi

As we approach the end of the year, we’re excited to share some insights on engaging with clients while prepping them for the new year. In this video, Anthony and Morgan walk through key ways advisors can support their clients during this important season.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Gifting Analysis as a Conversation Starter: Ethic supports advisors with an in-depth gifting analysis for taxable accounts, helping to identify which securities may make the most sense to gift from a tax perspective. This can be a meaningful way to start conversations around family missions and philanthropic goals.
  2. Engaging Families with Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs): End-of-year charitable giving offers a great opportunity to introduce DAFs, a vehicle that brings family members together to align on philanthropic values. This not only strengthens family bonds but also supports mission-driven investing.
  3. Utilizing Tax Loss Harvesting for Forward-Looking Planning: Ethic's platform enables advisors to review tax loss harvesting data for taxable accounts, making it easier to discuss year-end performance and future tax strategies with clients. This sets up meaningful conversations around how tax strategies can help achieve both financial and impact goals.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
