Once upon a time...

Ethic was founded in 2016 to make investing more personal—connecting portfolios to the values that matter most to clients. Our founders combined their expertise in finance, institutional investing, engineering, and design to address a unique challenge—how to align portfolios with personal values, tax needs and financial goals. By bridging the worlds of sustainability and institutional quantitative finance, they built a platform that empowers advisors and institutions to deliver personalized, values-aligned investment solutions at scale.
