Director of Sustainability Research Travis Korte shares what his team is digging into as we head into 2025.

Some Key Takeaways from Travis' Insights:

Focus on Research and Development (R&D):
This year, we’re aiming to expand Ethic’s focus on companies' R&D efforts, recognizing these as forward-looking indicators. This involves analyzing emerging product lines and business areas to anticipate future sustainability challenges and opportunities.

Deepening Expertise in Biosecurity:
The team will dig into best practices related to biosecurity, particularly in pharmaceuticals and agriculture, to address global health concerns like pandemic preparedness. We view this as an undervalued area where investors can make a meaningful impact.

Broader Scrutiny of Fossil Fuel Supply Chains:
We are committed to examining indirect contributions to the fossil fuel industry. This includes industries, such as insurance and advertising, that support fossil fuel firms, even if they don’t directly engage with oil and gas production.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
